No matter what season, Thailand is still hot and sunny all the time plus we were born as ordinary people, not cactus. Therefore, exposure to too much sunlight will cause the skin to burn and darken. It also makes our hair dry and damaged, risking hair loss too. Today I have 5 simple tips for protecting the hair from the sunlight to share.
- Use a shampoo that contains sunscreen
There are also shampoos and conditioners that contain sunscreens, just like in cosmetics, but the difference is that we don’t need to wash our hair every day like applying sunscreen because it will make your hair drier and also risk the chance of hair loss even more. Better to wash your hair only every day 2 days is enough.
- Wear a cap/hat
If you really need to be out in the sun, wearing a hat is another way to protect yourself from direct sunlight, but you don’t have to wear a hat all the time. When in the shade, you should take off the hat to let your hair breathe. Otherwise, it will cause more humidity and hair loss than before.
- Avoid using the heat
Just the sun alone is already hot enough. Heat styling is even more damaging to the hair. Try switching to cool air blowing, it feels fresher and does not hurt your hair as well.
- Stay hydrated
Drinking water helps to make every system in the body work more efficiently. It also adds moisture to the skin and hair to fight the heat from the sun as well.
- Avoid sun exposure
The best way to protect yourself from the sun is to stay out of the sun. If you don’t have to go out and run errands, stay at home, watch movies, listen to music, and shop online. This way, your hair is already safe from the sun.
You see, taking care of your hair from the sun is not difficult at all! We just need to pay a little more attention to care about our hair simply like this. Hair loss problems or hair thinning won’t bother us for a long time.
